As the project Stingray has been completed, engineers undertook the most ambitious aircraft construction project that was called Mantaray. They put all issues of cost- and fuel-effectiveness of such vehicle aside and managed to build several prototypes.
The Mantaray is fitted with a Cachalot twin-barrel cannon of large caliber and a heavy armor which is essentially shellproof. In the very first fight, it became clear that its destructive power being unleashed is formidable. Unfortunately, the acute oil deficiency made the engineers give up the work on this ingenious project.
The Mantarays, incredibly costly yet enormously destructive flying death machines, are extremely rare to be seen in a battle.
