wow, those new sounds are really cool! However, I lost the match. I think that I looked too much to the graphics and paid too much attention to the sounds :P

Hi all..

I'm trying to get Oilrush working with the people using my bumblebee project, which is support for nVidia Optimus on Linux..

When trying to start the game I get:

Xml::load(): can't open "/home/martin/Spil/OilRush-0.71/bin/../data/waterwar/unigine.cfg" file
Config::load(): can't open "/home/martin/Spil/OilRush-0.71/bin/../data/waterwar/unigine.cfg" file
Loading "libGL.so.1"...
Loading "libopenal.so.1"...
Set 1366x768 fullscreen video mode
Xlib: extension "NV-GLX" missing on display ":0".
Xlib: extension "NV-GLX" missing on display ":0".
X Error of failed request: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 155 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 34 ()
Serial number of failed request: 81
Current serial number in output stream: 82
AL lib: ALc.c:1879: exit(): closing 1 Device
AL lib: ALc.c:1808: alcCloseDevice(): destroying 1 Context(s)

This is probably because something in the game forces it to run on xserver :0..

The problem here is that bumblebee uses two x servers, an intel and a nvidia.. The content is then generated on the nvidia server and afterwards sent to the intel server... but Oilrush forces the game to be run on the intel server...

Anyone got any ideas how to change this???

Somehow i realy dont like the new tracks. I would buy the game alone for the awesome music but the new tracks ruin everything :( I just loved the heavy guitars and rock, the new tracks are like the oposite of it :( :( :(

Different locations have different music: heavy, industrial, breaks, drum'n'bass, ambient. By the way, all of the tracks are created by the same composer, he keeps working on delivering Oil Rush spirit in music.

Thats why. I mainly played on the map "Rain" and there is a new track that is like the oposite from the other ones. Its not a big deal, the other 3 new ones are pretty good too :)

This is really awesome! I didn't check out the multiplayer, but it seems to be awesome too.
The only thing that is missing now is the game lobby in the multiplayer.
But i can wait :D

There seem to be some performance issues. Turning down shaders and textures to low is not changing my fps on nvidia 8600gt from ~17. When I try and disable all of the 4 special options, game fails to restart with:

Can't run "./OilRush_x64d -data_path ../ -engine_config "/home/vadi/Documents/../.OilRush/unigine.cfg" -video_app opengl -sound_app openal -video_mode 18 -video_fullscreen 1 -video_multisample 0 -video_vsync 1 -console_command " render_shaders 0 && render_textures 0 && world_load waterwar/menu" -system_script waterwar/unigine.cpp -extern_define NO_DEFINES -extern_plugin Network" process

Without even having tested it yet (downloading atm), I think this is a very nice update. One of my most wanted features coming with this update are the alliances :thumbsup:

Need to test this update ASAP ;-)

Hi, Vadi,
please, post your system details in this section of forum according to your OS and we'll try to work this issue out.
