You can download the current development build (version 0.6) from Unigine Online Store: https://store.unigin...accounts/files/

Changes from 0.59 to 0.6:

Gameplay:
* Drastically improved combat system and unit targeting, now it is really important to choose the right type of units for attack
* Some game balance changes
* Added obstacles (air units can fly over them)
* Minor fixes in tutorial missions
* New fleet formation

Code:
* Improved performance, reduced CPU utilization
* Fixed frequent Linux crashes
* Completely broken multiplayer
* Added 64bit builds
* All builds are debug ones for now
* Completely new pathfinding system
* Fixed keyboard handling in UI
* Logs, screenshots and other files are now stored in "~/.Oil Rush" (in Linux) or "%USERPROFILE%\Oil Rush", usually it is "C:\Users\YourProfile\Oil Rush" (in Windows)

Visuals:
* Drastically improved units movement
* Units are created inside the production bases
* Fixed miss/hit SFXs
* Killed units explode into pieces and sink
* Improved ice on arctic levels
* Fixed minor content glitches

PS: Please specify version number if you submit a bug report.
PPS: Brief user manual with controls / goals description is located in the documentation folder, read it!

Should previous version be uninstalled first, or will it properly install over top of 0.59?

It's better to uninstall the previous version.

I can't wait to try it.

And something a bit off-topic: the announcement e-mail I received contained *a lot* of e-mails in the "to" field... Please send individual ones, I'm sure most of us are not comfortable with our private addresses being shared like this.

We apologize for that, I've already assigned a task to our web developer to fix the notification system, sorry one more time :( It will not happen again, I promise.

Yes, network system is in the state of heavy refactoring now, so it will be broken for a while.

I'll happily assume that most of the customers won't transform into identity thieves and I'm happy you're looking into it. Thanks :)

Great :). Let's see if this fixes the crash I was experiencing...

Two suggestions you may consider:

- "* Logs, screenshots and other files are now stored in "~/.Oil Rush" (in Linux)" -> I'd be nice if you could respect the XDG directory specification, according to which that sort of stuff should go into ~/.local/share/<appname>. This way it won't clutter the home directory.

- I'd be awesome if you could provide rsync or some other way to update the game without having to download everything again.

ok... then i'll keep the 0.59 version and install the new into another directory...
is it possible to have 2 versions in 2 directories, or do they interfere with each other? (in .cfg's or so)

* Logs, screenshots and other files are now stored in "~/.Oil Rush" (in Linux) or "%USERPROFILE%\Oil Rush", usually it is "C:\Users\YourProfile\Oil Rush" (in Windows)

it sounds that its possible(0.59 seems to store the cfg's in the game directory)

You can keep two versions of Linux build, they use different config files.

Windows build will be installed in the same place by default, overriding old one.
