Maybe you should try to get IGN to do a story on it? That would really be good! Also, how do you plan to distribute the official release? I guess I'm saying do you intend to sell it in a CD forum, or just download? And, let me get something straight. The pre-orders only get the pre-builds right? And then when the game is released we will have to rebuy? Sorry, I this is the first time I have ever pre-ordered a game so I don't really know the whole processes!You really should consider giving the game a broader audience by advertising it before the final release. AFAIK, too few sites speak of it...

That's an incredibly low amount of preorders for a game of this quality. Once I've been able to do the fix for Nvidia card users, the game is incredibly solid. With a title like that, you can be bold when promoting it, it's an impressive game most people wouldn't expect unless they play. People might think it's just a great engine, but after trying it the gameplay is really good.We haven't expected a miracle with pre-order, 1000 copies in a month would be a good result.
Word of mouth will probably really help your sales only after the introduction of online multiplayer (that's when people will tell their friends to buy it so they can play together online); hopefully at that time the speed of the preorders will really pick up.

US has 161 and they have a population of 308 million, while Germany has only 90 million.

It wouldn't make sense to generate a lot of publicity at this moment. The moment to make waves is when the game is about to be released, not months before.
Most people would think the current tech preview is all there is to the game and dismiss it on that basis.
I agree so we haven't pushed the game to the main gaming websites yet.

We haven't expected a miracle with pre-order, 1000 copies in a month would be a good result.
Finally, you did it 11 days after! Maybe the double at the end of March. France in third position: YAY!
