Hello
you said on Facebook, the game will be available only in English.
I think the game market in German-speaking space is very large.
Who do you give us the opportunity to translate the game.
many would enjoy it.
maybe there are also only some language files need to be translated?
Greetings

I do understand that the focus is on game development first and localization 2nd. Anyway, if there is a simple way to translate the game to other languages (no sophisticated coding skills required) I am also willing to help out in translating the game from english to german.

I think there will be guys who want to translate the game to the languages other then German,
so I think it will be nice to have a collaborative translation project. If the game will be
able to load strings from the separate human-readable files it will be easy for the community
to translate the stuff.

Also if it is too early yet, I think it could attract more people, having a version with their native language (especially these european people are used to content in their language ;-) )I think it's too early for translation. All text in the current version is a temporary text.

Which makes it a perfect time to introduce the localizations :). If you wait until you have entered all the new text you will soon discover that you now have to enter it again (from the source code to the english.loc file).I think it's too early for translation. All text in the current version is a temporary text.
Also if you put the strings in a simple textfile, then translators can use tools such as diff to see the changes done on the english one and you will get new translations very quickly. In fact I would guess that if you released a locale aware version today then you would get translated files within a day or two.

I would help to translate the strings into german, too. But i'm not uncomfortable with the current english-only situation, either. It helps me train my english :P
