Changes:

* Added full support for Steam on Linux.

* The engine is switched to OpenGL core profile instead of compatibility one (better Mac OS X support, non-compatible with open source Linux drivers for now).

* Added launch options configurator for Steam.

* Improved German localization.

* Fixed controls under Linux with gamepad connected.

* Fixed a lot of minor bugs.

PS: see you online in Steam!

Excellent news and you took on board some of my feedback and have fixed the broken achievements (well, at least the ones I've been able to get).

Thank you, it's refreshing to actual see a game company support its games!

^Maybe something to do with this

The engine is switched to OpenGL core profile instead of compatibility one (better Mac OS X support, non-compatible with open source Linux drivers for now).

Since the Intel graphics drivers are open source, chances are it would fall under this category.

Thanks for the update. Runs great with Steam and OpenSuse 12.2 64bit.

The Steam achievements "This is Sparta" and "Non-stop Fun" still appear to be broken. All of the others now work properly!

Do they require a human opponent or will an AI one do? Maybe that's where I'm going wrong: I was only playing an AI.

ETA: tried it with a human opponent, he got the achievement but I didn't, so I guess Oil Rush thinks I already have those achievements. So I guess the easiest way to resolve this is to delete my profile. Can I just delete the one stored in c:\users or do I need to trash the one in the Steam cloud?

I don't know if Steam provides such functionality like resetting the achievments. Deleting data from user folder or steam clound won't reset the achievments too.

Please, try to contact steam support, maybe they can help you in resolving this issue.

Thanks!

Barnardo,

Open source Mesa driver is not compatible with OpenGL 3.2 Core profile yet, so the game won't launch.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Why no 64 bit version on the linux steam version? The version from Unigine Shop has a Linux 64 bit version, with 64 bit Libaries.

There is no 64bit version of Steam libraries in their SDK, so we are bound to 32bit version only.
