Unfortunately it's not possible to mix Steam and non-Steam network matches.
That's understood, what I meant was more of an option for Steam users to connect to the stand-alone lobby instead of the Steam lobby or is the Steam API so tightly interwoven into the Steam version of OilRush that this can't be done?

hi binstream,
both features exists. Maybe a Option. If a steam user says my friend has no steam and i want to play, i switch to... If it so hard -> extra profile needed.
Please do a good job!
I know money is short and time, too. But a good multiplayer is important.
If you have an box release, you have no steam, player starts.
If he played rts and td before he starts with 1-2 easy switch to normal, play campaign in 3 hours, maybe try hard (hard is only hard because sou have no resources)
In Quick game hard is very easy -> send 1 airplane to every oil station -> enemy us always a lot of units and drive in circles -> attack one plattfrom with a 1-2 heavy bots -> enemy gets all units and you use a nuke. Get all platforms and finished.
And our stats tool will be lost ;)

By "dedicated server", do you mean a separate hardware on which regular build of Unigine will be running or do you mean a special version of the engine that will be available publicly, which every user can download and run his(her) own dedicated server at home?
